News 12 is the 24-hour local news service dedicated to bringing the best local news and information to New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Available to subscribers of Optimum, Xfinity, Spectrum, Service Electric, and Fios, News 12 provides local breaking news, traffic, weather, sports, and more.
News 12’s studio is automated in a way where I plan out our shows by coding, and effectively I serve as a director as well as operator for the cameras, lights, graphics, prompter, and as audio mixer. My time is also split between being a director and a video editor/master control operator.
Basically, I’m the gal behind the scenes. You won’t see me in front of a camera in any way besides this Instagram post, which was a lot of fun to make with Asha.
